The "Kids" (Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood and Jordan and Jon Knight) are back to try and find a new audience and give their middle-aged die-hard fans a thrill.
The only thing worse than seeing these clowns all over MTV as teen pop sensations in the late-'80s is seeing them as middle-aged pop-star wannabes on VH1 today.
There's something a little creepy about the fact that an NKOTB fan could have pulled a Bristol Palin and had a baby at the age of 17 in 1986 when the band first hit the scene and today her 22-year-old daughter could have the hots for the same guys mom did back in the '80s.
Is there anything more absurd than seeing a 39-year-old Donnie sweetly sing about how he wants to be your boyfriend in their new video (http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?artist=1254&vid=269876)?
Donnie told The Independent, "You have to make the music for yourself first and make the music that you feel good about. Then everyone else will like it as well."
Does Donnie really make songs about being your boyfriend for himself, does that really make him feel good?
C'mon, just come clean about it guys. This is just a midlife crisis money grab.
