Adopt me … or else

Every once and a while I check out the Animal Rescue Foundation's Web site (http://www.arf.net/index.asp) to see what animals are available for adoption even though there's almost no chance I'm going to expand my stable of pets beyond my cat and my fish.

Well, to my surprise I found an adoptable cat that actually looks really interesting.   And by  "really interesting" I actually mean "incredibly terrifying."

Meet Trivet, a 10-year-old cat that is available for adoption … and she looks mad as hell about it.

This fuzzball is described as "friendly" despite looking like she's a lot more intent on scratching your eyeballs out than lounging in your lap.

Check her out at http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=10213639.

I drove by ARF on the way to work today and they have a sign on the street corner promoting free cat adoptions so you may be able to bring home this feline version of Cujo for nothing.

Good luck with that one.
